The ride is uncomfortable as vans are built on work truck suspensions driving rougher and bumpier.
With no opening side windows you'll miss out on views and natural light and the tropical breezes wont flow so no ventilation gets hot inside. Really uncomfortable at night trying to sleep.
RVS - NOT ON MAUI
Full size big RVs on Maui are another topic hard to find info on. Like the ones to take a cross country road trip with the family many with room slide outs. There are exactly zero on Maui. Not allowed. Our roads are narrow and windy in many areas. If Maui had RVs there would be one stuck on every road all day long. Forget trying to turn one around.

I’ve been offering campers on Maui longer than anyone else at this point! Back in the early days, before the internet made travel research a breeze, I was just Paradise Jay—spreading the word through good old-fashioned word of mouth and Craigslist. That’s how people found out about my campers.
